Designed as an ultra-precise slide for positioning or as an easy pick and place system. The main design element to this precision slide is the use of an integrated bearing system. This innovative guide unit has an accuracy of 0.01 mm and linearity and parallelism in the 1/100 mm range.

This is ensured by the optional clamping unit and the end-position interlock. This prevents undesired lowering of loads onto workpiece carriers in the case of a compressed-air supply failure and provides protection in emergency-stop situations. Pick & Place or piggyback configurations can be mounted directly without the need for adapter plates. Other product combinations are available through the use of pre-designed interfaces into Festo modular handling systems.
